# KB: How to stop white flash between page loads

On some devices (typically anything running Android 4.3 or lower) you may see a white page when clicking links or reloading the home page. There is a work around which involves turning off hardware acceleration.  
  
**Workaround**  
Go to **Settings** > **Advanced** > **Use Hardware Acceleration**. Please note that turning this off is known to prevent video playback within the browser.
