KL: Default App (Single App Mode)

Please note it is possible to change the default launch time of 10 seconds to a minimum of 2 seconds. If you do this, it becomes harder to access settings from the launcher screen. To delay the launch time by 10 seconds, long press ANY icon on the app launcher.

When configuring Kiosk Launcher it is possible to set a "default app" to launch when Kiosk Launcher starts/resumes (for example screen on). This is useful if you only wish to lock the device down to display one app. First you must make the app available in the app drawer via Settings > App Launcher > Visible apps. Then tap the "Default App" setting and select the app you wish to make default.

Note: the end user can still press the home button to return to the list of apps (in this case most likely just one app) but the default app will open again after 10 seconds (unless default launch time has been changed). 10 seconds is the optimum amount of time for an admin to access the password dialog and ultimately settings.
