KB: How to stop white flash between page loads

On some devices (typically anything running Android 4.3 or lower) you may see a white page when clicking links or reloading the home page. There is a work around which involves turning off hardware acceleration.

Workaround
Go to Settings > Advanced > Use Hardware Acceleration. Please note that turning this off is known to prevent video playback within the browser.
