KB: Why won't my video screensaver continually loop?
Unfortunately some manufacturer devices fail to loop video inside the standard VideoView component for no specific reason.

Thanks to a user report there is another known cause, if you have removed the soundtrack from the video you are using this may cause the looping to fail, so instead of removing the track consider setting the video volume to 0 within your video editing software.
