Amazon Fire Devices
Amazon’s Fire OS, is quite a different beast from stock Android.
Amazon aimed to make their own OS based on AOSP while remaining completely independent of all Google Play Services and certifications, instead favouring their own Amazon services.
One downside to this is that Kiosk Browser cannot be set as a default launcher on the device, meaning you cannot truly lock it down from accessing the rest of the device.
Kiosk Launcher cannot be setup as the device owner and will not work at all.
Kiosk Browser can still be run in standalone mode as a regular application on Amazon Fire OS devices but is unsupported.
